Lekhnath Small Town Water Supply Project is one of the eight pilot projects proposed in first phase of STWSSSP implemented by DWSS. The project area consists of the plain area of all wards (except ward 10 which is hill area) of the Lekhnath municipality. Some hill areas which lies below water reservoir tank are also served by this project. This project consists of four water supply systems.

4. Shishuwakhudi WS System (Existing system)
5. First Co-Finance Water Supply System
6. Second Co-Finance Water Supply System

1. Total Intake Structures = 2 nos. (Guinjekhola Intake, Thadokhola Intake)      

2. Plain Sedimentation Tank = 2 no. 

3. Roughing Filter = 1 no.

4. Pressure Filters = 1 nos.

5. Distribution Chamber = 1 no.

6. Transmission Pipeline from Guinje Khola to Lapsidanda = 12.29 km

7. 180 cum Reservoirs Tank = 2 nos. (at lapsidanda ws system)

8. 400 cum Reservoirs Tank = 2 nos. (at dandakonak ws system)

9. 150 cum Reservoirs Tank = 2 nos. (at shishuwakhudi ws system)

10. 100 cum Reservoir Tank = 1 no.(at arghaun ws system)

11. 300 cum Reservoir Tank = 1 no. (at Khueledanda, Dandakonak WSS)

12. 200 cum Reservoir Tank = 1 no. (at Paitekharane, Arghaun WSS)

13. Iron Remover Filter Plant at Panditthar Khahare - 1 Unit.

14. Iron Remover Filter Plant at Dhungepatan - 1 Unit.

15. Iron Remover Filter Plant at Paitekharane - 1 Unit.
